This original sketch by Paul Casberg demonstrates another unadopted sabre pattern. The pommel features the so-called pattern – the dove head, the guard features the eagle which outstretched wings that form the crossguard. This sabre is mostly identical to the model Prince Eugene but for the back of the grip that features the imperial eagle in the center of the oak-leaves wreath over the cross.
