This pattern could have been one of the proposed patterns of the Standard Army Dagger and also designed by Casberg in 1938. The aesthetic emphasis of this pattern becomes a large oak leaf motif that decorates the crossguard, the pommel, the scabbard fittings and the chape. For this model Casberg designed also an alternative crossguard featuring the eagle clutching a wreath with the swastika over oak leaves. Unfortunately, this sketch hadn`t been adopted.
